Usage

The difference between booster pump and self-priming water pump

The max start water pressure of ro purifier is 0.05Mpa, and this two kinds both can boost pressure.

Boost pump is used when the water level of middle of pipe is higher than the pump, especialy with the water pressure environment. The ro boost pump can increase the value of tap water pressure by 0.3-0.5Mpa, which makes the tap water can through reverse osmosis RO membrane to achieve filteration.

Self-priming water pump is used when the water level of middle of pipe is lower than the pump such as the water pressure environment of well,underground water and self-built housing etc.

Generally speaking, the boost pump is similar to the naturally aspirated principle of automobile, and self-priming water pump is similar to the turbo boost.
